“Understanding the glitch not as a mistake but as an unforeseen characteristic is how we can notice its liken in human life. The universal pedagogy we face and trying to understand the world is basically a method of trial and error on an irregular trajectory.

One of the examples that best represent it within the realm of music production is the fact that the filters and delays that characterized the Dub were discovered by accident at the time when the Jamaicans began to use them under their own understanding of the machines that England had left for a while at Kingston-based BBC studios. Or the artistic current clicks and cuts of labels like Mille Plateaux that postu- lated in a manifesto written by Phillip, Sherbourne (a musical journalist who created the term Microhouse) he speaks of the deliberate glitch in music as a way of understanding error and aestheticizing it as fundamental to the work’s discourse, hence its characteristic sounds refer to electrical and algorithmic failures.

This album explores a dialectical approach to glitching within electronic music through 5 tracks. The design of the tones, the composition structure, and the processing of workflows that played with randomness and free will were used to translate this concept into an aesthetic oriented to the cerebral dance.”

“Entendiendo el glitch no como un fallo sino como una característica imprevista, podemos notar su símil en la vida humana. La pedagogía universal a la que nos enfrentamos al nacer e intentar comprender el mundo es básicamente un método de prueba y error en una trayectoria irregular.

Uno de los ejemplos que mejor lo representa dentro del ámbito de la producción musical es el hecho de que los filtros y delays que caracterizaron al dub fueron descubiertos por accidente en el momento en que los jamaiquinos comenzaron a usar bajo su propio entendimiento las máquinas que Inglaterra abandonó por un tiempo en estudios de la BBC con sede en Kingston. O la corriente “clicks and cuts” de disqueras como Mille Plateaux que postulaban en un manifiesto escrito por Phillip Sherbourne (periodista musical que creó el término “Microhouse”) como el glitch intencionado en la música es una forma de entender el error y estetizarlo cómo fundamental para el discurso de la obra, de ahí sus característicos sonidos que remiten a “fallas eléctricas y algorítmicas”.

En este disco se explora a través de 5 tracks un enfoque dialéctico del glitch dentro de la música electrónica. El diseño de los timbres, la estructura de composición y el procesamiento de workflows que jugaban con el azar y libre albedrío se usaron para plasmar este concepto en una estética orientada a la danza cerebral.”
